Customer Reviews
Works great with older vehicles that have aux cord connection and a cell phone with a USB -C charging port.
This cable adapter is perfect with my Samsung S21 and my 3.5mm jack in my car. The stereo sound is great coming out of my speakers. I use it everyday while driving.
Seems to be a better quality product than what we purchased previously.
It definitely works well, but sometimes it just stops working and I have to unplug it, and plug it back in.
10 feet comes in handy works very well great purchase not just one, but two.
I like it, looks and feels good, and most importantly it works well.
Why would you need this thing? I thought to test this with my home stereo first. Then I thought I would NEVER actually use this with my home stereo. I have a DAC that is light years beyond this thing. This is not a fair test. So I sat at home and thought why do I need this. The obvious scenario is you have a phone with no headphone jack and your car has no bluetooth, plug this right in the Aux and problem solved. What if your car has Bluetooth like mine, you would never need this. Wrong. I just so happened to find myself in a u-haul truck and guess what....no Bluetooth. No problem you got radio, right?. Then you are driving through the boondocks and the radio signal goes to hell. WTF right? That's where this cord comes in. For less than the price of a movie ticket you can roll with your tunes in the u-haul anywhere. But I digress. Let's talk about this cable.Packaging. It comes in a sealed plastic pouch. Nothing fancy. The Zooaux brand is prominent on the front and back of the pouch but found nowhere on the cord. This makes the cord seem somewhat generic.Build quality. The cable is thin but this is not a bad thing. It has a braided exterior which gives it durability. In fact I appreciate the thinness of the cable as it is less obtrusive.Sound quality. Truthfully this DAC is not going to be winning any awards here. This is a low cost cable and you get what you pay for. There is no high end DAC in this but it works. Paired with the speakers of the u-haul this aux cable is a winner because it gets the job done on a pittance.Conclusion. Don't even think of using this with even a halfway decent home system. Spend the money and get a dedicated DAC solution like I did. This is at its best paired with other low end equipment where it will not be the weakest link.PS. I ran this cable vs a direct Bluetooth connection on my JBL Charge 3. Bluetooth was clearly better than the cable ....unless you are getting interference on the Bluetooth connection which happens in urban areas, I would not use it. This cable is the backup plan and it is always useful to have one just in case.
They work.
I, for some reason, had never heard of these, and decided to give them a try. They work great, as they claim. I suppose the only real issue is that you are not charging while listening, like some older phones could do.
