I am like many others, I see the price and go "Good god, that much for a dryer? No way the price is worth it."I am so sad to report it is, in fact, worth the price.- You can notice the difference immediately upon first use. My hair is dense, thick, wavy hair. Most hair dryers I have tried over the years, take at least 10-20 minutes when drying right out the shower. I also tend to start sweating, as I have to take a longer time thus heating up my scalp.- The dyson dried my hair out the shower in 5 MINUTES. Yes 5 MINUTES. I was stunned. The heat settings are well programmed, as the medium and low settings do not overheat the scalp over a period of time. The cold button was fast and responsive.- I was skeptical of its design, with the open blower, but it works perfect. In fact, I like the longer handle, as I can more easily get to the back of my head. The weight is perfect, just heavy enough and just light enough to not strain the hand.- The attachments are also excellent. The fast drying attachment does exactly as it says, so does the fly away attachment.Now I have just one con:- It does not come with a travel bag. For being expensive as it is, its silly it does not come with a travel bag.Despite my initial scoffing at the price, I can confidently say this is absolutely worth the price.I will warn, the supersonic is similar to a basic hair dryer. If you want to do curling, straightening, etc, you need to get the other dyson hair dryer. For me, the basics is all I need, but if I decide to style my hair more, I would definitely consider getting the other dyson dryer.

Do yourself a favor and buy this dryer! It’s worth every dime! My wife loves it because it’s light weight, powerful, quiet and looks futuristic!

Original Review: I have had this hair dryer for about six months and it has started to make a high pitched noise and shuts off. This is extremely disappointing for such a hyped up dryer. I have my old 7 year old dryer I will have to go back to.I have never dropped this dryer and keep it on a stand in my bathroom. I will see if the manufacturer can help.Edit: Well, whatever mechanical issues the hair dryer had are now gone! I don’t know if something had jostled lose inside or if it was just a bad bearing, but one day it just started working again without notice. No complaints here! It’s a very nice hairdryer, and I like the different hair attachments. They snap on magnetically and are designed for different hair types. I use the curly hair attachment and my daughter uses the straightener attachment to help straighten her curly hair.

It’s pricy but it’s the best. speed is great it won’t burn your hair light eight

I wanna start by saying have kinda obsessed over this dryer for some time now but couldn’t bring myself to pay as much money as they want for it,after all it just a blow dryer right? NOT RIGHT! This blow dryer is a complete game changer I know it sound rediculouse , but I actually look forward to takeing extra steps to make my hair look nice by actually blow drying it after I get out of the shower I find myself wet I g my hair even if I didn’t shower just to beable to dry it now , my hair feels so nice after using it , the attachments are extreanoy unique and do what there supposed to, and dint even get me started on the sound, it’s not silent but it’s quieter then any other hair dryer and it just sounds luxurious and expensive, it’s worth it 100%

I was unsure about buying such an expensive hairdryer, but all my doubts disappeared after the first use. Styling is now easy and fun. My only complaints are the rigid, inflexible cable—it’s long enough but not as easy to handle as I expected—and the unclear reset button on the plug, which took me a few tries to figure out. Also, it doesn’t come with a bag, so all the pieces stay in the original box.l so i recommend to buy a holder

You probably won't be able to put any of the settings on high (heat, speed). When I do it, the dryer cuts off. Thankfully, the thing that saves it for me is, you don't really need it on high. It dries quickly on the lower settings.

Sin lugar a dudas es sencillamente la mejor secadora de cabello que existe. En general la marca Dyson es muy costosa, pero en verdad vale cada peso que pagaste por ella. Después de tener una Dyson (aspiradora, alisadora, ventilador etc.) no querrás comprar ninguna otra nunca más.
